Art Stop is sponsored by the Town of West Orange and the West Orange Arts Council. Its purpose is to feature artwork produced by students in the West Orange public school system. There are currently two venues, both at the Essex Green Mall: a three sided kiosk next to Panera which was donated by Principal Life Insurance, and a display window donated by Petco in the rear of the store facing the AMC movie theater entrance.

The kiosk currently displays the art of students from St. Cloud Elementary, art teacher Matt Sternstein, and West Orange High School, art teacher Heather Young. Two and three dimensional work from art teacher Earl Spied's students at Mt. Pleasant Elementary School are on display in the Petco display window.

The Art Stop exhibitions are coordinated by WOAC board member Mansa K. Mussa.
